I grew up in Nittedal, a small town right outside of Oslo, Norway. As a young child, I was into all kinds of sports and competitions, but I struggled a lot with constant stomach pain, low energy, and nausea. I was eventually diagnosed with Celiac disease at the age of 10.
I loved to challenge myself and tried everything from handball to horseback riding and dancing. At the age of 10 I put my hands on a golf club for the first time, and my dream became to play professional golf. After moving to Melbourne, Florida to attend, and graduate, from Florida Tech I pursued my pro-golfer dream for two wonderful years. I decided to retire from golf at the age of 25, to focus on other dreams. Today, I blog about living with Celiac disease, the struggles, and the food I eat. I’m trying my best to live a balanced and healthy life, free of gluten and an upset stomach.
